How To Help Children And Youth With Ear Challenges
Chronic/Frequent; Frequent Ear Aches; Many Infections; Has Drainage Tubes Inserted; Build Up Of Wax
Ear health is vitally important to children & youth. Seeing, hearing and balance needed for organizing the body for action are intimately connected. Challenges with vision and hearing are linked in the brain. Functioning ears are essential for easy learning. Without prompt help, chronic ear challenges can seriously slow learning, lower self-confidence, cause behavior challenges, and establish poor learning, listening, speaking and reading habits. They can be extremely painful and confusing. Ear challenges may be associated with creating perceptual and speech challenges. Some ear challenges can be easily addressed. They can be related to a combination of: genetics; accidents and physical trauma; physical disorganization; allergies; prolonged stress; nutritional imbalances; exposure to environmental pollutants. Some osteopaths and naturopaths consider frequent exposure to antibiotics as possibly creating hearing challenges.
