How To Help Children and Youth That Have Dyslexia
Without being managed well, dyslexia can prevent children & youth from achieving their full potential in later life. Without support, it can produce lifetime challenges with self-esteem, learning, confidence and success. Dyslexia can make adult relationships very difficult. It may be linked to a number of perceptual difficulties and may be caused and complicated by a combination of factors including: genetics; exposure to environmental pollutants; nutritional imbalances; challenges during pregnancy; physical disorganization due to trauma; and prolonged physical stress.
